Find in the conversation bellow.
My name is I Wayan Hendariyana as the Head of Tourism Resources and Creative Economy Division at the Denpasar City Tourism Office.
Volen Artspace: What exactly is Dharma Negara Alaya (DNA), Bli Hendar?
Dharma Negara Alaya is Denpasar's Creative Hub. I serve as the Head of the Creative Economy Division, among other things, as well as Tourism Resources, where my main duties and functions are to improve human resources in the tourism and creative economy sectors. Secondly, how to mobilize the government as a facilitator here - how to facilitate actors working in the creative economy sector, such as uniting them, bringing communities together with businesses, businesses with government, government with media. So there's a cycle there, an ecosystem that we need to create so everything moves together.
Volen Artspace: How did DNA initially find Volen?
Volen Artspace, of course, we found through our searches and also through introductions from friends. We were looking for communities related to weaving - weaving ropes and fabrics - searching for data on communities operating in Denpasar City.
Volen Artspace: Please elaborate, how does DNA support friends in the creative industry...
So if friends are already well-curated, curated in the sense that they can already show their identity, they can already demonstrate that their innovative products have value, then we're ready to market them to go national and international. So there's an ecosystem process running there.
Volen Artspace: According to you, what is Volen's uniqueness?
Volen itself has its own uniqueness, it's rare for young people to think about rope and fabric weaving or braiding. This is very important - if possible, this identity should not be lost from Volen itself.
Volen Artspace: Thank you for your time, Bli Hendar. Would you give a message for all of us?
I hope Volen Artspace can develop far beyond where it is now. Thank you, Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti, Om.
